FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS

  • What is Seven Oceans Philosophy?
Seven Oceans goal is to provide quality instruction with repetition to build confidence. Lessons are kept under 30 min for group and 20 min for private to keep each child fully engaged. Although Seven Oceans works on safety techniques, the main goal is to learn to swim. After learning how to swim, they will then learn how to apply safety techniques and better understand why they are important. Although Nicole does not teach every lesson, all instructors will instruct each class with the same techniques.
  • Is Nicole the only instructor?
Nicole owns, manages, and runs 85% of the lessons. She also has several instructors. SWN is NOT set up to request an instructor. Although we do not guarantee the same instructor, we do guarantee consistency in teaching styles. We want to build trust in your child, rather than becoming dependent on an instructor.
  • What is the temperature of the pool?
The lesson pool is held at 92 degrees. The lap pool is held at 84 degrees.

NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON NO MAKE UPS FOR ANY REASON
  • What if my child has currenty taken ISR?
If your child has taken ISR, please wait to sign up when your child is 3 years of age or older. Learning ISR and then learning to swim, is not recommended back-to-back. This will work against what you have spent weeks teaching your child, so you may as well use it! Seven Oceans teaches swim, not survival. (Although we do work on training your child to make smart choices in the water and practices safety techniques!)
